My goal for term 3 is to get my pen license. I feel like I've achieved because I have neat writing but I also feel I haven't because most of the time I was rushing.

I feel this way because when we played deadzone on the courts I was always catching the ball.

because once we were finshed whatever we did we could go on tutpup.

The thing i enjoyed the most in term 3 was all the P.E and sports events like cross country. Because i enjoy exicise like and love sports.

The thing that I enjoyed in term3 was: the Olympics day that we had a lot of different country's.

KIS Roadshow

Today we had the Kamo Intermediate roadshow. The Kamo roadshow had some mean performances going on. The best thing was the Hip Hop dance it was mean ,The funniest thing was when Matthew got the robots battery out and said '' I GOT THE POWER'' . The best thing was the Kapa Haka . There were six girls and five boys . They were loud and acted in some other acts . I thought that other people would of done it for them.

Today Kamo inter came to our school to do performs.It was awesome when they did their acts it made me feel excited. They did many types of things like dancing,singing,playing music and many more things. I reckon that the dancing was the best and the robots were really funny.I thought the Kapa Haka was really good. All of the acts were amazing

When the k.i.s performed i thought that Shayla and Jade were awesome .I thought that because i like gymnastics .I reckon that their name is cool groovy gymnasts .I also liked Matthew's jokes they were incredible well that was how i judge them. The robots were weird it stopped Matthew when he was saying dancing.

Today the K.I.S. came toour school. We had peformances from a Kapa Haka group. They sang a lot of maori songs twice and did really good actions. I knew a couple of people there. I think i knew some people that were singing they were really good. I think the robots were funny

KIS roadshow

The one thing I liked was the bands they had. I liked their funny jokes too. The other thing was the Kapa Haka. I think it was cool to have the roadshow to come to our school too see all their hard work.

Kamo roadshow

Today we had the Kamo Intermediate school roadshow today.I reckon that some of the acts were quite good. I think it could have gone for longer and had a few more acts. When I was lining up I thought about all the acts I might see like sining guitar playing and some dancing and lots of other things. I KNOW! they need better jokes.I like the robots they were a bit funny

Yesterday we had the K.I.S roadshow come to our school to show their talents Mr.B made us write about what we thought of it heres what i wrote.......

Today was the K.I.S roadshow. I thought it looked like so much fun. My favourite act was the lollipop one. It was so cool. I was extremely excited. I also think the random robots that were trying to dominate the world were really super cool. The Dancers would have been my pick for best section. I love it when the K.I.S roadshow comes but next year i get to be in it!!!!

Kamo intermediate roadshow 2008

This morning the Kamo intermediate roadshow came to our school. I reckon it was really good. There were lots of people doing singing and dancing and I thought there could have been a bit less because there was a bit too much. There was also quite a lot of dancers in the show. I feel that there should have been more boys. I suppose I liked the singers best, they were really good. But next year I might be in it! I really hope they do it again next year so all the people at the schools can enjoy it and K.I.S talent can keep going to entertain kids.

Guess what! HPS (Hurupaki Primary School) had an exceptional performace from Kamo Intermediate School. I reckon the most amazing cousin in the world A.K.A MATHEW KERR!did a lot of comical jokes, nevertheless he was working with a girl eww discusting (for him anyway)I felt sorry for him! Somehow they had somehow they had some girls who probably thought they where doing Hip-Hop or Harcore but since I do both I think they just made a dance up and said it was Hip-Hop or hot Hardcore but it was nothing, get it nothing!The most funny part was when Matt pulled a power pack from the back of a robot because there where two robots and well, Matt pulled it out of the back of one and said "I've got the power! that was very amusing. I hope you can see me do an amazing performace next year!

The amazing roadshow

Today we had the Kamo Intermediate School RoadShow.I thought it was alright, even though i think the flipping gymnasts were pretty cool.I reckon that some big lunged singers could have done a lot better that the dancing, singing etc. that they did do.I suppose that they put a lot of hard sympathtic work in, because some of it didn’t look as though they put in a lot of effort.

On Tuesday we had the Kamo Intermediate road-show it was awesome!My favourite was probably one of the bands,I thought the bass guitar was cool (but noisy).The robots were really funny but their batteries were taken out.The lollipop song I thought was excellent.Matthew's  jokes were funny especially the one about tap dancing dangerous because you could fall down the sink.Next year I hope it will be as good.

Today k.i.s [Kamo intermediate school]came to Hurupaki to perform all sorts of amazing acts.My favourite part was the Kapa Haka.I also liked all the crack up jokes they told.I thought they were incredibly funny and i reckon i will use them a lot around school. BY DION

Today K.I.S traveled and did a cool show. I thought it was extremely awesome. I felt really excited because it was so cool. I reckon that the Kapa Haka was cool. It was so funky. I enjoyed the whole show it was so funny.I guess they tried hard and did great.

K.I.S roadshow

He Honere we all could hear the great song from the Kapa Haka group their hearts out. I thougt of how amazingly loud they were.

The next act was a blues band. At first they sounded quiet. But then you could feel the beat and the loud music and you have to listen more and more.

But the acts came flying and flying and I started to feel sad and felt upset then randomly Matt Kerr turned these robot off because they tryed to take over the human race and after that he held up this book that said the power of turning things and said '' I got the power''.

After maths rotation we had the K.I.S roadshow. (Kamo Intermediate School) There were heaps of acts. I liked watching people who were in the bands. I thought it looked fun playing instruments in front of people. There were robots and they were really funny because when people were playing in the bands the robots kept coming in and dancing to the music. When the people were playing in the bands the music was cool it made me want to dance. The KapaHaka group was loud they must of had heaps of practice. I thought that some people were not loud enough. All of the roadshow people were great well I thought that.

What I thought of the Kamo roadshow. WOW! It blew me away. I suppose they had a lot to show. I reckon they had a lot of talent. You could hear the roar of the auidence clapping. I realised they did there best. There was marvellous acts to see. I can't wait till next years roadshow

KIS roadshow

Today the KIS roadshow came to our school and performed a lot of talented things. I thought that the pokemon jokes were funny especially the second joke. A really funny part was at the end when Matt pulled out the power from the robot and said ''I  got the power''. I think that the robots were a bit dumb because robots could have killed everyone while they had the chance. I reckon that the Kapa Haka group was a lot more louder then our Kapa Haka and they only have 11 kids in theirs and have a lot more then us although they are in intermediate. But everthing was super awsome and maybe next year I will be in the KIS roadshow.

Olympics Day

Last monday Hurupaki school had the great olympics day and we all really enjoyed it.

My great team was Atlantis and we won 4 medals kalanily won gold in egg and spoon race,Sam won silver in egg and spoon race,Sharnae won gold in hurdles and James won silver in dart throwing.

I really thought i would win a medal in JAVILIN or SHOT PUT.

I really hated gumboot throw because the seniors had such a far throw and i hated it also i could not throw that far.

I Jayden Ham was the banner holder but Jayd was the flag bearer and my partner Min Su was always late so i always had to find a banner holder relever and it also had to be a senior so i was always running around mad trying to find a great royal banner holder.

At the closing ceremony i was ready to do the great walk around the playground when i heard Mrs Howett lost her Flag so i had to help i looked and looked but i couldn't find it so at the opening ceremony we had the medals and the closing and then after the ceremony i went to ut stuff away in the P.E shed and then I saw Mrs Howett's Flag.

Pod 1 kidpix

This morning we had to work with little kids . Me and Bronte went with Lucy. I think Lucy was good and creative. I just watched her it was fun and cool. We didn't need to teach them anything but we did anyway. Mr.B went to pod 6 to get the C.O.W but it was already there. We had so much fun it was cool. We were going to do some art on a cow. We just told them what did what and we just watch.

This morning we went to pod 1 to teach the little kids how to use kidpix. I was with Lucy and Cheyenne helped me. Lucy had real fun. We had to tell them how to hold it and what to do when you get the computer. When you get the computer you hold it with to hands and go back to your table then you check for any damage if there is damage tell the teacher then we showed them how to get on to kidpix then we showed them how to use it. I had fun teaching them. Lucy said she wants to do it again another time.

Today is a very special day - International Talk-like-a-Pirate Day!! Aaaaaarrrrrrr


We are also helping Pod 1 to use the COW for the first time today. It is a bit crowded at the moment, but everybody is enjoying themselves and learning some new skills - both Pod 1 and Pod 9.

These are some podcasts that some children made when they read the book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. This was a good way for the children to practise using expression in their reading. Using the computer allowed them to listen to themselves talking and make improvements each time they recorded a different part of the story.

How to use a compass

As the wave rushed closer to the boat, nathan realised that there was nothing he could do. He walked to the front of the boat. he watched the wave as it sped closer. It seemed to be getting even bigger as it rushed closer. He thought of the people that he would never see again. He was positive that he could hear the loud roar of a lion just before he was thrown of his feet. A sea monster!

He stared at the wave as it got closer. It seemed to be getting bigger. He thought of the other people on the gleaming boat that he would never see again in his life.
